How do i pop my hood with a DEAD BATTERY in a 2000 vw passat.? - passat towing
I have a 2000 VW Passat and my battery is empty. I can not get in the car because the key does not turn into the trunk or at the door. I just want under the hood to replace the battery. Other proposals for breaking the window or call a tow truck? You can add a new Audi A4, then why not?

Why do I think that running locked out of your VW to an empty battery is quite good for not a VW! (If you are unsure, Audi and VW is the same company and the cars are identical, except that they usually have the Audi Quattro.)
